Wildlife Refuge
We endeavour to exemplify a holistic model for safeguarding the region’s iconic species and empowering local communities as stakeholders in this noble endeavor.
Working with the Kenya Wildlife Service, our Animal Sanctuary actively contributes to the conservation of endangered Kenyan wildlife through our rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
Animal Species
-
Mammels
Lions, Hyenas, Baboons, Grey duikers & other monkey species.
-
Reptiles
Crocodiles, Monitor Lizards, Tortoises, Terrapins & a number of snake species.
-
Birds
Ostriches, Crested Cranes, Guinea Fowls, Peafowls & Augur Buzzard.
Our long-term goal is to rehabilitate these animals, helping them regain the strength and skills needed to thrive independently in the wild. Once they are fully prepared, we aim to reintroduce them back into their natural habitats, ensuring their successful reintegration and continued survival in the wild.
Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation
Our facilities provide a sanctuary for orphaned, injured, and threatened animal species in need of care and protection. We have custom-designed enclosures that ensure a safe and comfortable environment for rescued animals, allowing us to offer the specialized care they require. This includes administering veterinary treatment, creating nutrition plans, and providing enrichment activities to enhance their well-being.
